It’s my birthday today, but I haven’t received any well wishes yet, leaving me feeling a tinge of sadness.

 

I don't even know where to start with this dog's story. How old he is, I don't know. What I do know is that his physical and psychological condition is very bad in a terrible shelter in Braka. Its development had clearly been restricted, so its hind legs were deformed and its tail had disappeared.

Edina Pasek is a good woman who had her own shelter for stray and abandoned animals. She went to that shelter for another animal, but fate took her to this poor soul.

He was covered in bite marks because he is small and all the other dogs in the crate attack him during feeding times. Its head and chest were massive and disproportionately large compared to its back and legs. He was a poor little thing, and he was very sad.

“When I put the food in front of him, he put the food in the corner of the box and looked at me with those sad eyes.” Edina Pasic said

The vet who was present at the shelter was concerned that he might go blind from spending all his time in the dark in the box.

"This is so sad, I couldn't leave him there because I had a gut feeling he wouldn't make it. By the time I write this post and get back to him. He's covered in little white and black fleas. His fur is covered in black and white fleas. He's in terrible shape and he's coughing and needs to see a doctor Vet as soon as possible! Edina Pasic said

She decided to rock it with her. He was asleep all the way from Praca to the pension. He didn't move until she checked if he was alive several times if he was still alive.

She took him to her own shelter, and after five days there, he finally had a detailed examination at the vet. The conclusion is that he was born with these deformities, and unfortunately there is not much that can be done to fix it.

The only possible surgery he could have is hip surgery but only when his right leg improves. It is still not 100 percent certain that he will recover.

"He's so afraid now, he's afraid of everything, he just wants to hide in the corner. He's afraid of people and cars and even when two people are talking he looks worried. He's afraid of other dogs and when I talk to him, he's afraid of other dogs." I hold him and his little heart is beating so fast that it fills me with sadness. I promise him that this will all get better and that he will be one of the happiest dogs ever. Edina said

"After 10 days, the little prince is doing much better. He no longer has diarrhea. He is a brave boy! At the moment he does not need anything.. It is still too early to get any vaccine."

Four months later, the shy boy Prince finally returned home. He was adopted in Finland by a sweet woman named Hannah, who loved him dearly from the first day she saw him
