Reese is discovered on the street. No one can know how this little boy managed to survive. Every bone in her little body could be seen as her body was in a state of turmoil. What kind of person would allow something like this to happen? What kind of person would do such a thing to her?
Animal control was notified, and a local Jersey Petz rescue group was contacted, hoping to save her life. They submitted a photo of their dog sleeping in the back seat of the car. Everyone who saw the picture started crying
She was grateful for the countless kisses she received from her new human friends, even when she couldn't lift her head. It would be an exaggeration to say she was a loving dog. No dog deserves to be in such a terrible circumstance, but a dog like Reese, who has so much love to give, stands head and shoulders above others.
Reese's medical team performed the necessary procedures to help her recover. She was a singer who demanded a lot of attention. She was able to stand briefly after a week in the hospital. It was a modest victory, but it was something!
Reese took her first steps on her own a few weeks later. She would "sit" and wag her tail as instructed. She was discharged from the hospital a month later and returned to her medical home.
Reese's foster mother, Ren, claimed she was scared throughout the car journey but "came back alive" once she arrived at her foster home and realized she was safe. She excitedly grabbed the toys and started playing with them. Reese was finally inside the house where she was welcomed and cared for.
Reese turned into a "real dog" in the blink of an eye. She wants to rush to the couch and demand entertainment. She actually thrived after being well enough to go for a walk. I realized there was a big world out there waiting to be found.
Ren admits in the video that she had to unbutton Reese's buttons every morning when they woke up. It was a major event because it indicated that Reese was gaining weight and her health was improving! Reese's health is improving, her weight is increasing. While Rin heals, she stays with her.
She will be available for adoption soon, and everyone who meets her believes she will be a wonderful addition to any family. We are thrilled that Reese will be recognized and revived soon. Thank you to all the animal heroes who keep going!
