Although Arrow seems very happy now, he had a terrible experience in the past. He had a broken jaw when he was brought to the animal rescue group PMM Rescue Inc as a baby. His jaw was damaged by a ferocious bite from another dog. Unfortunately, his right lower jaw was rotted and could not be saved. The veterinarians decided to amputate the deceased's bone, that is, remove his lower right cane and part of his upper right side.
The hero who saved Arrow’s life is Dr. Sidhu from Bakersfield, California. After the operation, he stayed with the dog to check on its health condition.
Although the accident robbed the pup of part of his jaw and left a permanent scar, it couldn't hurt his playful spirit. Immune to disfigurement, Arrow threw himself into life in such remarkable fashion, his story went viral on the Internet.
He loves to eat, play baseball, learn new tricks, and make a mess when he drinks. He also enjoys spending time with his beloved family, cuddling, hugging and kissing, and taking walks with his parents.
As a reward for Arrow’s optimism and courage, fate gave him the best parents in the world. They are used to cleaning up the mess and food scattered all over the house because of his crooked mouth. They love him for who he is, despite his physical limitations. Thus, Arrow is free to show his active spirit and "do whatever he wants."
