Ilovemydogsomuch wrote that after planting peanuts in an alley in southern Ohio, she bled from head to toe and suffered a traumatic brain injury. She was taken to emergency status.
It is not known exactly what happened to her, but they suspect that she may have been hit in the head or thrown from the car. But what they do know is that she was abused and left for dead.
One of her eyes was badly injured, but the stagehands weren't sure if she would survive, let alone be seen again.
Instead of letting her down, the stage managers and collectors decided to risk the peanuts. After War Horse, the redemption group Stop the Suffering brought her to Columbus, where she stayed with a foster family.
As the days passed, Peanut made tremendous progress.

Unfortunately, because of the trauma she endured, she still has a lasting fortune. Because of the trauma to the right side of her brain, she always turns to the right and walks in circles. She also had vision problems and was still sitting for a while.
But despite everything she's been through at the hands of evil humans, she's still very kind and loves everyone she meets!
