According to NoAnimalBehind, a kind man found a poor crippled dog dragging his body through the snow in the cold, frightened. She was a traumatized dog, very afraid of a broom or anything that looked like a bat, but she never lost faith in people!
Immediately contact your local animal shelter for assistance. They took her to the vet clinic for a CT scan.
"Since we couldn't figure out exactly why she couldn't walk, we're going to do a CT scan at the vet clinic."
They named her Ellie.
“I could give 1000 reasons why I love animals so much, but today I was so touched by the new paraplegic I saved yesterday! I started kissing and hugging her and she started crying!” said her rescuer.
It's the first time in her life that she feels love!
Five days later the CT scan came back and it appeared it was not a car accident. Ellie was hit by a hard object, most likely a blow, which compressed her marrow and left her paralyzed. This explains her fear of sweeping.
She is receiving anti-inflammatory treatment and will likely need physical therapy to be able to walk again!
After 15 days, miracles happen! Eli can walk again. She is making daily progress in learning to walk again!
“Before the physical therapy session, we walked outside for 20 minutes and she did an amazing job!”
Ellie is now fine, and is starting to walk a little. She still needs treatment and physical therapy...
