Jung Myung Sook, 61, from South Korea, has spent the last 26 years of her life rescuing dogs. She has successfully rescued and cared for more than 200 puppies thanks to her efforts.
Sook goes to great lengths not only in caring for stray dogs but also in obtaining dogs for sale in restaurants, despite his meager means.
Sook told the Associated Press that her children are not hungry and are allowed to play and live freely. Although referred to by some as a "beggar-like middle-aged woman," Jung remains focused on feeding her children and is happy and healthy.
Many people have come to help Sook because of his kind and loving personality. Unfortunately, she had to move seven times due to noise complaints from her neighbors.
It is said that elderly people in South Korea still eat dogs as cuisine. On the other hand, pets are becoming increasingly popular among younger generations.
