Imagine starting a new wonderful life with the person you really love, but it doesn't take long. This is exactly what happened with a twelve-year-old dog named Sammy who loved her father very much, but it all came to an end when her father died suddenly.
But fate just wanted to give her another chance at life as 2 EMTs came forward to help the grieving pup. Tejan Sliva said the puppy was crying bitterly in her arms because she had not left her father.
So, Tegan and Kirk, her EMT partner, decided to take Sami as she had nowhere else to go but a shelter. Sliva said they gave Sami water and cleaned her with wet wipes because she was covered in dust. Until Kirk finished work, his girlfriend took care of Sami.
So, Kirk and his girlfriend decided to adopt Sammy permanently at the end of the day. She now lives a wonderful life with another big sister named Kali. What a happy ending!
